STORYBOARDS
Some early storyboarding, outlined as follows, shows the project’s initial concept and how the sequence of events progress with time.
The player is instructed the AI to conduct a small repair in the airlock (e.g. restore comms).
Player is locked in, with air supply cut off.
A computer terminal/rewiring station in the airlock is accessed to trigger actions such as manipulating the spaceship’s air-purification mechanism while in the airlock in order to buy more time.
The next door into the cockpit is hacked/cut with a welding torch.
Door to the next corridor is opened, giving passage to the following room.
Once in the cockpit, the player simply presses A and watches as they attempt to interface with the spaceship’s artificial intelligence to cease the rampage.
